We reluctantly departed Organ Pipe Cactus NM this morning, and headed north a short piece to Ajo, AZ.
The local desert is visibly greening up since we got here. Even the Creosote’s blooming. It's amazing how fast the vegetation responds to moisture. Spring is here.
We found a little Pine Gopher Snake A.K.A. Bull Snake enjoying some sun.
We’re booked into La Siesta Motel & RV Resort, enjoying both wifi and the pool. Nancy went for a town tour, along with grocery shopping, and laundry. While everything needed to be done, and is much appreciated, she’s clearly having a hard time with this taking it easy concept.
Ajo is suffering now, but it used to have a large copper mine. The town square is the greenest place around.
Made another tour of the hot tub at dusk.
61 Km.
