We had a take-it-easy kind of day, to celebrate being officially wedded for 31 years (and living together for 35 years) today. We stopped briefly at the Tule Creek Hike & Bike Trail.
Pool and relaxation in the afternoon, and went out to Shempy’s, a highly recommended seafood joint for supper. Nancy had shrimp and soft-shelled crab, but couldn’t bring herself to eat the legs, despite the encouragement of our server. We took advantage of their BYOB policy to celebrate with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

Congrats guys.
It has been a week of birthdays and anniversaries for us. Mom's 91st on Tues. which is also Jackie and Karl's anniversary. We went out for lunch with them yesterday to the Foxtail, now open up at the park. So that basically killed the last 2 days for us. The snow is gone enough to finally start cleaning up the yard. Amy did dog bones yesterday.
We had coffee on the veranda this a.m. for the first time this year. We might get to +8 again today. The morning bush is absolutely alive with birds now and the Sandhills arrived back to our valley today.
Safe travels
