Catching up

Well I have been remiss in my blogging duties so I will attempt to catch up.

Thursday we spent the day swimming at our own beach as the water was very calm.  We went out to dinner for the 8 person seafood meal at La Pineda.

Shrimp, octopus, sarandedeau, etc.

The food was fantastic as usual.  On Friday we decided to head for Chacala Beach for another swim and lunch.

We left for Puerto Vallarta on Sunday to attend a friends wedding at the Villa del Palmar Hotel.

The ladies took the bride out for a night on the malecon.  We took a collectivo (bus) down along the waterfront and had dinner and drinks then strolled back towards the hotel.  It was a long weekend and the malecon was very crowded.

The wedding took place on a small peninsula out from the hotel.  It was a beautiful evening.  The silver highlights of the sunset matching the silver in the wedding dress.

After the ceremony we boarded some taxis and went to a family friend's restaurant where we had a fabulous meal.  It was a wonderful time and we met many new interesting people.  A great little vacation from our vacation.  Today, we drove back to the trailer park, happy to leave the big city with its high prices behind.
