Mardi Gras y Adios

Well, it's been a busy time in La Peñita.  Five days of partying with music on the malecon every night culminating in the parade Tuesday night complete with dancing horses, numerous children, etc.  Some of us went to the charity bingo in town, some went to the parade and others went to taco night with free margaritas.

Last night the park had its Mardi Gras pork roast with a 60's theme.  The meal was great and we had a good time.  The band might have been a little sketchy playing those Americano 60's songs but it was fine.

Today we drove our family visitors (above) to San Pancho where they will spend a few nights before departing for PV and home.
