Last day in Las Colinas RV Park

Kirk and I went for our usual early morning walk when the birds are active and everyone else is not.

The air is cool and crisp and filled with bird songs.  The ever present Boat-tailed Grackles raucously singing in the trees.  Gila Woodpeckers and Cactus wrens nearly as noisy nesting in the Saguaros.  Gambel's Quail darting out from the ground cover to startle Kirk.  White-winged and Mourning doves with their mournful calls fluttering about or strutting along the walkway with little fear of us.  I added two knew birds to my list yesterday - Crissal Thrasher & Gilded Flicker.
