Nebraska

High 25 C Low 10 C

We left South Dakota, drove through Iowa and into Nebraska.  There is still a lot of water from the Spring flooding in Iowa.

This portion of I29 was closed when we went through in Spring.

Look out speeders

Platte River near Lincoln, Nebraska

The Platte River is on its way to join the Missouri River

It was a very windy day so we decided to get off the road early and stopped at Camp A Way in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lovely huge trees in this park

Basswood, I think.

Kirk's arch nemesis - Fox Squirrel

Very spacious Dog Park complete with Squirrels

Yes that's the train they pull behind the golf cart.

The last time Cam and I saw one of these it had about 12 drums full of kids and was being pulled by a golf cart going flat-out driven by Yogi Bear talking on a cell phone in Jellystone park outside Fort Worth.  Those were real 40 gallon drums though and these are just plastic.

Maybe we need one for the Ranger
