March 5 & 6 - Spay & neuter clinic and Felizzxyh Pollo

On Sunday I went back to JEEP to help care for animals coming out of surgery at the spay & neuter clinic.  I am learning a fair amount about how to turn recovering cats and dogs and monitoring them.  Cats begin to wake up after about an hour and a half while dogs wake sooner.  We remove ticks and clip dogs nails as well.  Initially, I found it hard to not get upset with some of the animals lot in life but it needs to be done and someone must do it.  One must set ones emotions aside or I would be ineffective.  JEEP is working hard to find them homes and keeping them safe until then.

In the afternoon, we went to Rincon shopping then stopped at the Felizzxyh Pollo (Happy Chicken) to pick up supper.  You get tortillas, a rotisserie chicken, salad, 2 kinds of salsa and rice for 120 pesos (8.40 cdn).  The restaurant was packed and the take out line was also hopping.

Today, was quiet and we once again ordered servicio de domocilio.  This time from Mr. Ribs who also provide a full meal delivered to our door but at a slightly higher price.
