The Usual Routine

Market day was awash.   We had a fairly heavy, although brief rain in the morning.   The walk into town was tricky but the water quickly drained away.

At J.E.E.P.,  I gave the kennel cats a new bed and everybody had to try it out immediately.  Simple pleasures, means so much.  There are about 40 dogs there right now but the kennels and exercise areas are spotlessly clean.  Also a new horse and of course Dr Phil, the burro.  Dr Phil is still having skin problems and always will due to malnutrition prior to coming to J.E.E.P.  George was giving him a bath to sooth him.

Leaving J.E.E.P.

The days are passing quickly and we look forward to seeing friends and family who will soon begin to arrive here.  We had a nice evening visiting with friends at their home in Los Ayala last night.  They have owned a home there for about 12 years now and spend only 4 months in Canada.
