Today we picked up Carol & Al at Steffany's and headed up into the hills to Altavista.

Then we went to Chacala Beach. We met Bev & Stan and some of their friends at Las Brisas restaurant for lunch. A trail along the far side of the beach took us to the marina and gave us a great view back towards the beach.

We returned to the car to find that Cam had acquired his own watch dog or maybe the dog just wanted shade. On our way out we saw a new bird species - Northern Jacana - adults and juveniles in a wetland area.
