Voting Day

We walked into town yesterday.  It was a fairly quiet day with people at the church and people wearing Sunday clothes and relaxing.  Quite a few folks on horseback.  A nice young man let us take his photo.

Sunday was voting day in La Peñita.  We found this out when we tried to buy a bottle of gin.  We were told there was no sale or serving of alcohol until after 7 p.m. because of voting.  Today on our walk, we noted that the partying must have been intense afterwards as Santa was still prone in the street.

We also put up our solar lights.  Other than walking, the occasional dip in the pool and watching the ocean things are pretty quiet around here.
