Port Isabel & South Padre Island

We had a pretty busy day.  We went grocery shopping where we revelled in the array of familiar choices.  Smoked gouda, artichoke and spinach dip, miracle whip, and a whole lot more.  Not to mention our food supply was depleted and yesterday the border guards took our bacon!  Although we did get to keep our limes.

We went to Port Isabel to a favourite restaurant for lunch and then drove around South Padre Island.
