March 1 - at last the big clean is complete

They finished cleaning the Bigfoot and car today.  Thank goodness, it was a 4 day run of disruption on the patio and in the Bigfoot.  The Bigfoot had a wash, buff, wax - different stuff for paint and gel coat, wheels, interior carpets, mats, valences, and upholstery.  They even offered to do Kirk's beds but I said no.  The car just had a normal exterior and interior wash and clean.  One to three guys at a time, all for the princely sum of $2200 pesos (about $176 cdn).  It was Marteen's wife's birthday and she and their baby girl joined us on the patio for a bit.  They were going out tonight.  He is going to take a painting course this summer to expand his work horizons for the next tourist season this fall.  Many of the workers who come to the park have limited income during the summer.

Tada!

I just had to wash the patio down after they left.  Today, they had started at 10:30 and finished at 3:00.  Of course, Marteen was doing about 2 to 3 other rigs at the same time in the park with different guys doing different things between sites.  He did all the buffing and upholstery though.  I had done the curtains yesterday.  After the dust literally settled we went out for dinner with friends.

How much entertainment value did you get out of watching the sea kayak launching in the surf? Or were they pros and knew what they were doing?

It was a trimaran with a pedal powered prop and it went well
