Day after day

We are enjoying down time in Mazatlan.  Early morning walks on the beach before the heat sets in.

Baraka's is setting up for a wedding right behind us.  It will be rocking tonight.

Teri trying to control Kirk's need to get that crab!

Driving around town we find this to be a more laid back town than Puerto Vallarta at least in the morning and early afternoon.  Also this is not the height of the tourist season and most of the folks here are Mexican tourists or snowbirds.

We had an excellent Japanese lunch downtown yesterday and checked out a few RV parks but they were all a little tight or similarly priced without the good wifi and beach we have here.

We had another great meal at Roy's tonight.  Fish and ribs, margarita, strawberry pina colada, cerveza all for the price of dinner at McDonalds.  The sunset was lovely when we got home.   A bat fluttered between the car and the RV in its nightly hunt.  However, the battle of the bands had also begun.  The Riu is drowned out by the wedding guys with the tuba and congas.  The bar on the corner hasn't warmed up yet.   We simply accept that weekends are not quiet times in Mexico and enjoy the cultural input.

The wedding had a fireworks display so I took a few photos.

Buenas noches.
