Staying in Mazatlán for awhile

Having had a few excellent Margaritas at a very good restaurant I write this note to you.  We are beginning to relax, sleep through the night, and settle in here in Mazatlán.  We have decided that we are going to stay here rather than continue to Lake Chapala as we have not spent much time in Mazatlán in the past.  Today, we checked out several RV parks and decided that Baraka's resort here on the beach is as good as any.  Good wifi, 30 amp for air, right on the beach and easy access.

 Parked at Barakas

Supper at Roy's just down the street

Lobster and coconut shrimp $300 pesos

Filet Mignon, beans and fettuccine alfredo $169 pesos

 Brujas beach bar

It is hot during the day and we have to pace ourselves.  In the evening sitting in a restaurant the temperature is perfect, the humidity is perfect.  The food is reasonably priced, the margaritas are muy bueno, the people are pleasant and smiling, the Mexican music makes us feel like we are on familiar ground again.  It is good to be in one place for a bit.  People we know from the park and travelled with last year are arriving on Sunday.  Life is good.
