The continuing stories!

The continuing story of ...Isla de la Piedra.  This is a very agricultural area close to the ocean.  It was a quiet drive with very little traffic.  We saw a land tortoise on the edge of the road but didn't stop as there was nowhere to do so.

Melons

Palm plantation

 New orchard

We drove along a lake with a lot of water birds.  I saw a 2-3 foot long orange/red, yellow and black snake along the road by the lake.  I am not sure if it was a Coral (very deadly), Milk or King snake as Cam wouldn't even slow down.  He said he didn't trust me to stay in the car, imagine that.  It is a reminder that snakes do like water and we need to remember we're not in "Kansas" anymore.

Lots of Coots, Black-necked stilts, Whimbrel, Ruddy duck, etc

Fishermen chest high in water lifting nets

Road was under construction repairing some storm damage

 Cacti in hills near city

Mazatlan in distance

The continuing story of RV repairs.  The fridge part arrived today and was installed.

Our fan got fixed too!
