Today I took Kirk down to the ocean to see if perhaps the hard wired Jack Russel would not pursue crabs in the sand. As some of you may recall last year he got several eye infections and the local vet said "No more playa for Kirk". Kirk had fun running away from the waves but the second I took my eyes off him....... Luckily he had not got more than a few inches of nose down the hole so back to the beach shower station to rinse away the sand. Since he was already wet I gave him a thorough bath back at our site.
We will have to stick to walking around the park.

We also had a Berylline Hummingbird at our feeder and possibly a Blue-throated Hummingbird.
