Not much new today. We spent half an hour hosing down, sweeping and flushing off our site, only to have the neighbour's site park personnel pressure wash get blown downhill and cover our site with fresh debris. No problem, we then got a site pressure wash as well. Our neighbour Jack's trailer is in place now, so we finally got to set up the Brave's awning in the final configuration, and by gar, everything fits, albeit by inches. With the awning up, we then set up the 10 x 10 canopy on the deck, and it still fits as well. Final score of new Class A on our site; 100% Next step is to check out the local furniture stores and pick up a set of patio table and chairs.
We went for a shopping run into La Peñita; as it was market day, the rest of the town (east of highway 200) was quiet. A stop at Stephanies for a discussion with Alba on behalf of our cousin's booking was unsuccessful, she wasn't in until 3, and her alternate, who spoke not bad English, said that their booking system was down until next Monday, so she could not confirm bookings. So it goes.
The fishing is terrible right now, the restaurants warning that if you order Dorado, it is frozen, not fresh. Rumour has it the lack of fish extends north to Mazatlan. It's so bad, that our neighbour, since there's no use going fishing, has taken to refurbishing his little twin hull Livingston, sanding off multiple layers of paint, that he says, somebody applied with a mop. His stamina is amazing, waiting until noon and the heat of the day to begin sanding, and continuing for several hours. He's nearing completion, starting to apply paint today.
New park arrivals continue daily, you can feel the place coming to life. We continue to battle for bandwidth, apologies for the paucity of pictures, we will strive to improve.

Glad to hear that everything fits so well! I think you also need to update your map of visited areas in Mexico, no?

We have visited all of the indicated Mexican states, perhaps not this trip...
