November 30th - trees

Cam took a few more photos of the termite trails in our neighbours tulip tree.

Then went on a tree spree.

Strangler Fig roots

Strangler Fig tendrils

More termite action, a sealed tube so the termites can move up and down the tree without being exposed to predators or adverse climate conditions (like the skywalks in Winnipeg)

Luckily a frugal friend dropped by with this distraction.  He had been to Las Varas and paid 45 pesos ($3.15 CDN) for a litre of amber rum.  So he splurged and picked one up for Cam too.  What a guy!

Rhum

Ok, just 2 more Berylline Hummingbird photos.

Also liking the pics, Nov has been awesome but it's about to get cold. Next time you swing through Rincon could you have a peek at Mar y Sol and give us your impressions please? they have Feb availabilities, hope all is well. Is the 3 dollar rum any good?
