I talked to Antonio (Park go-to guy) and got the crew in from town to wash the Bigfoot, before the tropical sun baked the road grime on permanently.
He offered to wax it as well, but I am considering an offer from the paint guys to strip the cooked graphics, repaint them, including the current blended graphic colours, then polish the whole rig. They have repainted the front of the neighbour's Class A, so we'll see how it turns out. I'm also considering just stripping the graphics and polishing out the plain white gel coat. The Bigfoot turned out ever-sighny. I may even put the rear wheel-covers back on (removed on the way down for ease of tire pressure checking, and to prevent inadvertent removal by gigantic potholes or unexpected topes). The wash guys did 4 rigs today, just left at 6:30, but they had a profitable day.
My back is a little cooked after nine hours in the car yesterday, so today I mostly avoided upright chairs and doing anything useful (and how is that different, you ask?)

The evening pic reminds us of Bucanero. We are headed to -8C tonight and the ice isn't melting on the small sloughs anymore, yet we will be back up to +8 by the weekend! That's 10 degrees above normal! So far we figure we have missed 3 weeks of winter. We sure enjoy the blog and are with you in spirit!
it is like Cuba just with more stuff available. The Mexican families are coming in for the weekend (screened by Antonio). Most have camped here before and it is odd to have children running around. Those that know tell us it has been a good experience in the past, livens up the place for a few days.
