Our beach. Takes 15/20 years seniority to get the site with this view.
We went for a drive into Rincon De Guayabitos this morning. We found Cocos De Cameron, with gringos standing out front with that overwhelmed expression on their faces, right where we started 10 or so years ago. It took a while cruising around town, but we also found Steffany's, where Mom & Dad stayed, and all the Clandeboye crew stay.
We also checked out Little Rig RV Park in La Penita, which is lovely, but a nightmare to get into. More power to Lionel and Joy for staying there 6 years.
This afternoon, I had Radianito (UMX Radian) out, trying to find some ridgelift on the beach. I flew 2 - 150 mA batteries, and did not get a hint of any kind of lift, thermal or ridge. It was an utterly flat day, no wind. I also found out it is an error to land in the sand, geared electric motors being naturally allergic to grit. After the first time, I landed on the vines with the purple flowers; much better. We thought we saw some whales, out in the bay, but they were just rocks which break the surface at low tide.

What lovely weather it seems you are having. How is driving through the mexican streets/traffic in the crv?
We did so just now. kind of like driving in the north you take your opportunities when they come and it does have a disorganized flow to it. You are usually moving slowly. Lots of pedestrians, bikes, motorcycles, mopeds, trucks, buses, tourists, all weaving about. and bouncing don't forget bouncing as the streets are potholed and cobblestoned in many areas
Learning to make left turns from the lateral on the far right side of the street. Would kinda make sense, except the lateral is usually bombed out...
