This morning, we, Kirk, and the neighbours went for a cruise to Lo De Marcos to check out the RV Parks. The town was a nice, quiet little place, and most of the Parks were scattered along the beach. The exception was Tlaquepapque RV Park, which was on the estuary of the river just north of town. It was large, and very well maintained, 30 amp power and pools. There are rumours of an abundance of mosquitoes. It was almost totally empty.

We continued south down the good paved road to the rest of the parks. Many low, cross-road wires, and low hanging abundant vegetation raised concerns about getting our rig into almost any of the parks south of town. To get in would require Nancy either walking along, raising wires with a dry stick, or sitting on the Bigfoot roof and doing same with her dry stick. Cruz Maria was near the end of the road, and was well maintained, had a few condos for rent, and was on a gorgeous piece of beach. We had a good discussion with an Albertan staying there, who was enjoying the good fishing.
In the end, La Penita RV Park was felt to be a better choice. I was driving, so, of course, no pictures.
Back in La Penita RV Park, we decided to take a couple of pictures just to prove we weren't using someone's stock shots.
Although I haven't been that far, Those That Know (TTK) report that the creek enters the ocean just north of the second rock groin, and that the drag marks from the Cayman's coming and goings can be seen there.

Sounds lovely. I think that any site that requires the use of a dry stick should be avoided, whether it be to hold back power lines, prod off beasts or vault over streams. The pictures are great.
