November 1 - On the road in Mexico

Today, we crossed the border which took nearly 3 hours for all 4 RVs of us to get through but eventually we were on our way.  A very friendly but hard working golden lab called Doogy inspected all of our trailers and cars very efficiently finding anywhere we had any money.  However, he was looking for any real loot and our paltry sums were of no concern to his masters.  The border guards were extremely helpful, polite and professional.  It wouldn't have taken as long at the border but we had a lady with a loaded van come in between our 4 trailers and she had major declaration issues which made a big delay in front of 2 of us.

We drove through some dry field areas and then into more tropical and lush landscapes.

Security on the highway was good

Tonight we are in Ciudad Victoria in a secure lot.  Buenas noches.
