Parque Acuático Kikapu - Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco

We drove through some beautiful landscapes today.  More mountains, although we didn't have to climb through them as we did yesterday.   More like rolling foothills.  Incredible cacti as big as large trees.  Century plants, cholla, and huge prickly pear cacti.

 More mist

We saw the usual goat herders, cowboys and tethered horses and donkeys along the road.

Lake at our camp spot

We arrived at our camp spot - Parque Acuático Kikapu around 1:00 p.m.  and spent a leisurely afternoon.

A little lake at the park with turtles, egrets and other bird life.

Pool next to the camp area.

While we were having Happy Hour we noticed a young boy bringing tethered goats into the house  next door, then a horse stuck his head out and the boy went back for more goats.  Ah yes, time to bring the animals in from the grazing areas at the end of the day.

214 Km.
